Not everyone takes to what we do right away. I will tell you that on my first day in a CrossFit facility, after working out by myself for over a year, I was nervous, out of shape, and uncertain I really wanted to be there. Then the coach said “3-2-1 go!”, and suddenly none of that mattered. At the end of the day I was tired, beat up and wanted nothing more than to go home and fall down from exhaustion, but I also knew I had to come back, that this was unlike anything I had done before.
